HARRY Styles and Taylor Swift gaze adoringly at each other as they go public on their romance with an open air date.
The loved-up singers strolled through New York’s Central Park on Sunday, stopping to chat to some kids and to watch the sea lions at the zoo.
They seemed to be enjoying each other’s company, laughing and talking before being joined by Harry’s stylist Lou Teasdale, her fiance Tom and their baby Lux.
Taylor, 22, couldn’t resist cuddling the tot and carrying her through the zoo.
And Harry used the classic pulling trick of showing how good he is with babies, holding the little girl as he showed her animals through the glass.
The date came hours before One Direction’s sell-out gig in front of 20,000 fans at the city’s iconic venue Madison Square Garden last night.
The Country singer flew out from Los Angeles after performing at Saturday’s Jingle Bell Ball so she could share some downtime with the 18-year-old ahead of the biggest gig of his career.
Fans rushed to Twitter to post pictures of the lovebirds on their date, with one writing: “Just saw Taylor Swift. Holy c**p!”
Another wrote: “Um I just saw Harry Styles and Taylor Swift walking together in Central Park.”
And a third tweeted: “I JUST MET HARRY STYLES AND TAYLOR SWIFT TOGETHER IN CENTRAL PARK.”
One fan described them as looking happy, adding: “Harry and Taylor were walking next to each other. They seemed happy to be together, talking and smiling. Taylor seemed to be in a great mood. Lou and Tom were walking next to them and pushing their baby Lux in a stroller.”.
The X Factor USA co-host Mario Lopez first sparked rumours of a romance after announcing he had seen the pair “walking off hand-in-hand” during rehearsals for the singing competition’s live results show in November.
He added: “So Taylor Swift and Harry from One Direction — you heard it here first. They’re officially hanging out, I can say that much.”
Harry and Taylor — worth £100million — dated in April but their relationship cooled when he was snapped snogging model Emma Ostilly.
However, the heart-throb, famous for bedding older women, won over Taylor on visits to Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Harry’s bandmate Liam Payne, 19, reunited with his ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer in the Big Apple.
1D’s Zayn Malik, 19, was also joined in the city by his Little Mix love Perrie Edwards and Louis Tomlinson, 20, hooked up with his girlfriend Eleanor Calder.
HARRY last night planned to introduce Taylor to his mum straight after 1D’s New York gig.
Anne Cox, 43, was flown over from Cheshire by her son to watch the show.
A source said: “Harry’s close to his mum and has no qualms about introducing girls early on in relationships.
"Given their schedules, it’s tough to get Harry, Taylor and Anne in the same place at the same time.”
